Becky Hintz lives in Emporia, KS, where her husband, Dave, is the senior pastor of Flint Hills Bible Church. A lifelong learner, Becky loved homeschooling her four children, three of whom are now in college. She has always been deeply involved in church ministry and currently focuses on counseling, teaching, and writing Bible studies. Due to decades of sickness and physical trials, Becky has an extra passion to help women follow Christ when it hurts. Her simple joys include long walks in the country, good books before a fire, and rich conversation around the dinner table.
Join us for a transformative training event dedicated to discipling neurodiverse individuals and understanding the importance of reaching this unique community for Christ. We invite you to celebrate the joy of Easter with us! Our service will feature traditional Easter hymns, a special music presentation by our Sunday school and Curtiss Kids, and a Resurrection Sunday message from Pastor Ron. We will also be blessed by a musical presentation of "Easter...The Story of Redemption" featuring the CSBF choir.
Please join us for our traditional Easter Lunch potluck celebration in the Fellowship Hall immediately after the worship service. High chairs and booster seats are available for young children. We look forward to sharing the joy of Easter with you!

In order to allow all of our volunteers to enjoy the Easter Worship service, there will be no nursery. However, the nursery room will be open for parents who might wish to use it.

All Youth Group kids are invited to a progressive dinner hosted at different homes of people at CSBF. We will enjoy an appetizer, main dish, and dessert at three different homes. Please meet at CSBF at 4:45 so that we can carpool to each location together. We will expect to be back at CSBF no later than 9pm.
Join the youth group for another meal night on April 2nd at 6:00 PM! After dinner, we’ll continue with our regular youth group activities. Come for food, fun, and fellowship!
Get ready for some friendly competition at the youth group cook-off on March 9th at 4:00 PM! Teams will work together to prepare the best meal. Please meet at CSBF at 4:00pm. We will split up into two teams and start cooking. There will be some special guests joining us that will taste the food that is made and judge which team made the best meal. Dinner will be provided for this event so come with an appetite!
**This event will take the place of our monthly meal night.

Join the youth group for a fun afternoon of ice skating at Tenney Park!
We will plan to leave shortly after church, between 12:00 and 12:15pm. Please bring a lunch to eat after church as we will not be stopping on the way there.
Please also bring $8 for skate rentals or bring your own skates. Dress for the weather as we’ll be skating on an outdoor pond. We’ll return to the church and enjoy hot cocoa, snacks, and play some games for the rest of the afternoon. Friends are welcome! (Weather updates will be shared if needed.)

Youth Group Taco Night is back! Join us on Wednesday, February 5, 2025, at 6:00 PM for a taco feast with all the toppings you could imagine. Bring your appetites and enjoy a time of food and fellowship with the youth group. After dinner, we'll dive into our regular youth group activities. Don’t miss this fun and tasty evening!
All youth group members are invited to come to Living Waters Bible Camp for a youth retreat hosted by Rural Bible Crusade (RBC)! There will be daily worship and teaching sessions, small groups, hangout time, and lots of winter activities to enjoy. This is great time to enjoy each other’s fellowship, meet new people and friends and enjoy the beautiful setting of Living Waters Bible Camp in the winter!
We will meet at CSBF to leave for LWBC at 4:30 on Friday, January 24th. Retreat activities begin at 6:30. Dinner will be eaten on the road, please bring something to eat or money for food along the way.
We will plan on returning to CSBF on Sunday around 2pm. Retreat activities end at noon on Sunday.
The church is paying for half of the cost for any youth that want to go. The remaining cost of the weekend is $50 per person. If any youth want to go but need help covering the cost, please ask one of the youth leaders. We want everyone to be able to go if they want to!
Please make sure to bring:
Winter clothing (snow pants, boots, hats, gloves, etc.)
Bedding for sleeping (only a mattress is provided - sleeping bag, blanket, sheets, pillow, etc.)
Toiletries and towels
Bible, notebook, and a pen
Money for meals during the drive to and from the retreat
CSBF Parental Consent Form - this is required for this church-sponsored event, in addition to any consent forms required by RBC (these will be provided later). CSBF consent forms only need to be filled out once per school year. All 7-12th graders are invited to a Youth Group Lock-In at Curtiss Street Bible Fellowship! From January 10 at 6:00 PM to January 11 at 9:00am, all youth group members are invited to an unforgettable overnight event packed with fun, food, and fellowship. We will enjoy dinner and snacks, along with games and activities planned throughout the night to keep kids busy. Come well-rested and ready to stay up all night for this exciting experience!
Please make sure to bring a sleeping bag, pillow, blanket, and anything else that you might need to sleep.
Parents, we would highly encourage coming to pick your child up from the Lock-In on Saturday morning, no matter their age, since they will have stayed up all night.

All 7th through 12th graders are invited to the Youth Group Christmas Party! We will start with dinner at 6:00pm and enjoy many festive activities including a white elephant gift exchange, decorating Christmas cookies, and a “deck the leader” contest.
Students should plan on bringing a white elephant gift. The gift should cost no more than $10 and must be purchased from Walmart.
This will take the place of our monthly meal night.
Christmas At Curtiss Street is a celebration of the true meaning of Christmas - the birth of Jesus. It’s the season for giving and we’ve prepared a special program of music and the spoken word for you and your family to enjoy.
You’ll be blessed with heart-warming and thought-provoking readings and reflections plus a pleasing selection of traditional and contemporary Christmas music (accompanied by piano, guitar and harp) presented by the CSBF choir, soloists, smaller vocal ensembles, and the Curtiss Kids choir. After the program, stay for your choice of a delicious complimentary dessert. There is no cost to attend this event. All are welcome!
